About Pamela
Pamela Rojas started at OLE Health in 2026. She received her Master of Science in Counseling from San Francisco State University in 2025 and completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at San Jose State University. Prior to joining OLE Health, Pamela worked in school-based settings providing individual and group therapy, as well as clinical case management, to support students navigating academic, social, and emotional challenges throughout West Contra Costa and Oakland. She specializes in working with Latinx and LGBTQ+ communities and is passionate about creating supportive spaces where individuals feel understood, respected, and empowered.
My approach to care
My care philosophy is grounded in meeting each person where they are and creating a safe, supportive, and affirming environment where they feel heard, respected, and empowered. I take a person-centered and culturally responsive approach, recognizing that each individual’s identity, culture, relationships, and life experiences shape their mental health and overall well-being. I became a Marriage and Family Therapist because I wanted to help bridge the gap in access to mental health services for Spanish-speaking individuals and families while helping the Latinx community recognize that mental health is just as important as physical health. I am passionate about reducing the stigma surrounding mental health and creating a culturally responsive, inclusive space where Spanish-speaking and LGBTQ+ individuals feel comfortable seeking support, being their authentic selves, and prioritizing their emotional well-being. Something you might not know about me is that I stay recharged and grounded through the things I enjoy most, including being a proud dog mom, maintaining my aquarium, cooking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
