About Teresa
Teresa Nina started at OLE Health in 2019. She received her MSW degree from California State University, East Bay in 2019 and completed her BA in Social Work at San Francisco State University. Prior to coming to OLE Health, Teresa did her internship in Catholic Charities and in a Roseland University Prep in Sonoma County as a school counselor.
My approach to care
My approach to care is helping families help themselves with empathy and compassion where they are. I utilize CBT, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing techniques.
Why I went into healthcare
I became a social worker because I want to give back to my community and support families to create possibilities for themselves.
Something you might not know about me
I am from Peru. I love traveling, cooking international food, and hiking on Sundays.
