About Joel De Vera
Dr. Joel de Vera Moncada started at CommuniCare+OLE in 2018. He received his medical training at the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, completed a Masters degree in 2012, and completed his Doctoral degree in 2017 at California Institute of Integral Studies. He is a proud undergraduate degree holder of CAL Berkeley in 2005. Dr. Joel continues to run his integrative medicine practice, Ritual Acupuncture, and specializes in infertility, spinal conditions, oncology support, and neurodegenerative disorders.
My approach to care
My approach to care is to combine traditional Eastern medical philosophy and mind to the western medical body and lifestyle.
Why I went into healthcare
I became an acupuncturist because I needed to learn more about how to naturally heal and thrive from my own ailments. I strongly believe that while we have a menu of medical options to choose from-integrative medicine can be a choice.
