About Anita

Anita Giglio started at CommuniCare+OLE in 2009. She received her MPH/RDN degree from Loma Linda University in 1983 and completed her bachelor’s degree in nutrition at Pacific Union College. Prior to coming to CommuniCare+OLE, Anita was a clinical dietitian at Queen of the Valley Hospital and supervised a WIC program for a northern California county. Anita became a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist in 2006. She specializes in diabetes care and prenatal care.

My approach to care

My approach to care is to provide excellent patient care while always putting myself in the patient’s position. I try to make decisions individualized to each patient’s particular needs.

Something you might not know about me

I love many forms of exercise, especially hiking and walking and going to the gym. I also enjoy gardening and photography. I am always finding ways to improve my Spanish, by working with a tutor, self-study, or taking a class.
