OLE Health has a long history of serving our friends in the farmworker community. Since 1972, OLE Health has provided a platform for migrant workers to receive health care when we first opened up our doors in Rutherford, California. Since then, the program has evolved to engage multiple community partners and has become one of OLE Health’s most revered programs in the community.
In collaboration with the Queen of the Valley CARE Network, OLE Health provided health care screenings and information for approximately 100 employees of Far Niente Winery.
Employees walked through many health categories: Blood Pressure, Height and Weight, Body Mass Index Calculation, Cholesterol and Glucose and were given the opportunity to consult with a medical provider to go over all their results. Yoga and massage was also offered.
