LOCATION:                       West Sacramento, CA

PAY RANGE: $23.33 to $28.51 hourly

Established in 2023, CommuniCare+OLE is the result of a union of two health centers with  deep roots in their respective communities and reputations for providing high-quality primary care to all, regardless of insurance or ability to pay: OLE Health of Napa and Solano Counties and CommuniCare Health Centers of Yolo County. Building on a legacy established by both organizations in 1972, CommuniCare+OLE is a network of federally-qualified health centers with 17 sites across Napa, Solano, and Yolo Counties. JOB SUMMARY: The Access Representative, BH works under the direction of the Access Supervisor, Behavioral Health with a team of administrative and program staff members to perform a variety of administrative tasks and assist clients in Behavioral Health and Substance Abuse Treatment Program. CommuniCare Health Centers’ mission emphasizes nonjudgmental care, preventive care, health education and community referrals to address the broad spectrum of health and lifestyle concerns of clients served.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

  1. High school diploma or GED required.
  2. Administrative and customer service experience in a medical office, hospital or clinic preferred
  3. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

 

KNOWLEDGE OF WORK

 
1. Demonstrated ability to answer many phone lines simultaneously while maintaining courteous and patient phone manner.
2. Required to have the ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels and with external customers.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 
1. Answer phones, provide information on clinic services and referral service.
2. Greet clients and provide culturally humble and responsive services with the recognition that each client is the expert in their own life and has the freedom to determine their goals.
3. Maintain client data sheet.
4. Register clients, update demographics, consistent accuracy
5. Make reminder calls, reschedule visits
6. Assist with the scheduling of appointments
7. Prepare documents for assessments
8. Create and support with maintaining charts in ECW
9. Scanning documents into ECW
10. Supervise urine samples, enter labs into ECW
11. Verify eligibility for Medi-Cal/Partnership/Beacon/Medicare
12. Process payments for services when appropriate
13. Maintain lobby neatness/cleanliness
14. Update Bulletin Board; including pamphlet display board/Brochures.
15. Manage episodes in Avatar System
16. Enter Cal OMS into AVATAR System
17. Keep and update Urine Analysis (UA) testing log
18. Responsible for remaining within the legal/ethical standards, including confidentiality and HIPAA
19. Responsible for understanding, explaining, and enforcing all rules and regulations associated with clinic policy.
20. Other duties as assigned.

CommuniCare+OLE requires pre-employment drug-testing (4-panel drug-test includes: amphetamines, cocaine, opiates, and PCP).
